Revolutionise Your Intimacy with Peyronie's Disease Treatment

Safe, Effective, and Non-invasive Treatment for Peyronie's Disease

What is Peyronie's Disease?

Peyronie’s disease is a condition in which fibrous scar tissue (plaques) develops inside the penis, causing it to curve or bend during an erection. This can lead to pain, erectile dysfunction, and difficulty with sexual intercourse.

Causes

The exact cause is unclear, but it may result from:

  • Repeated injury or trauma to the penis (e.g., during sex, sports, or accidents)
  • Genetic predisposition
  • Autoimmune disorders

Symptoms:

  • Noticeable curvature of the penis (upward, downward, or sideways)
  • Pain during erections
  • A lump or hardened area (plaque) under the skin
  • Shortening or narrowing of the penis
  • Erectile dysfunction
Peyronie's Disease

Approximately 1 in 10 men in the United Kingdom over the age of 18 may have been diagnosed with Peyronie’s disease

How common is Peyronie’s disease?

Approximately 1 in 10 men in the United Kingdom over the age of 18 may have been diagnosed with Peyronie’s disease, according to the British Association of Urological Surgeons. However, based on studies of men who reported having symptoms of Peyronie’s disease, researchers estimate that the actual number of men who have Peyronie’s disease is more than 1 in 10.

The chance of developing Peyronie’s disease increases with age. It is less common for men in their 20s and 30s to have Peyronie’s disease. However, many men don’t seek help due to embarrassment.

Who is more likely to have Peyronie’s disease?

You may have a higher risk of developing Peyronie’s disease if you engage in vigorous sexual or nonsexual activities that cause micro-injuries to the penis. Your risk may also increase if you have certain connective tissue or autoimmune disorders, a family history of the condition, or if you are older. Additionally, diabetes combined with erectile dysfunction and a history of prostate cancer treatment with surgery can further contribute to the likelihood of developing Peyronie’s disease.

How we treat Peyronie’s disease at Pharma Aesthetics

The goal of treatment is to reduce pain, attain a straight or close-to-straight penis, and restore and maintain the ability to have intercourse.

Not all men with Peyronie’s disease need treatment. In a very few cases, Peyronie’s disease goes away without treatment.

Also, you may not need treatment if you have

  • small plaques
  • little or no curve to your penis
  • no pain
  • no problems with sexual intercourse
  • no urinary problems

If you need treatment, you may undergo nonsurgical treatments or surgery depending on the severity of your symptoms, how much your penis curves, and whether your Peyronie’s disease is in the acute or chronic phase.

At Pharma Aesthetics, we will discuss your treatment options with you and review possible side effects and outcomes.

Besides treatment, we may recommend lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of ED associated with Peyronie’s disease.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy, also known as low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy (LI-ESWT), is a non-invasive treatment option for Peyronie’s disease. It uses acoustic sound waves to target the fibrous plaques in the penis.

Shockwave Therapy

Breaks Down Fibrous Tissue: Shockwaves may help soften or break down the plaques that cause penile curvature.

Improves Blood Flow: The therapy stimulates blood vessel growth (angiogenesis), which can promote healing and tissue regeneration.

Reduces Pain: Many patients experience pain relief after treatment, even if curvature remains unchanged.

Potentially Improves Erectile Function: By increasing blood circulation, it may enhance erectile function in some men.

Procedure

Our device delivers low-intensity sound waves to the affected area of the penis.

The treatment is painless for most patients and usually takes 15-30 minutes per session.

Typically, several sessions (e.g., 4-6) over a few weeks are required.

PRIAPUS SHOT (P-Shot)

The P-Shot (Priapus Shot) is a regenerative treatment for Peyronie’s disease that involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the penis. PRP is derived from the patient’s own blood and contains growth factors that promote tissue healing, reduce inflammation, and stimulate new blood vessel growth.

How the P-Shot Works for Peyronie’s Disease

Breaks Down Scar Tissue: PRP contains healing proteins that may help soften or remodel the fibrous plaques causing penile curvature.

Reduces Inflammation & Pain: The anti-inflammatory properties of PRP may help alleviate pain and discomfort associated with Peyronie’s.

Stimulates Tissue Regeneration: Growth factors in PRP encourage the regeneration of healthy, elastic tissue, potentially improving penile shape and flexibility.

Enhances Erectile Function: PRP promotes better blood flow, which may improve erectile function in men experiencing ED alongside Peyronie’s.

May Work Well with Other Treatments: The P-Shot is often combined with penile traction therapy (PTT) or shockwave therapy (LI-ESWT) for better results

Procedure

A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient.

The blood is processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

A numbing cream is applied to the penis.

The PRP is injected into specific areas of the penis, including the plaque-affected regions.

Client Testimonials

“As someone who's struggled with ED for a while, I was eager to try something new. Shockwave therapy turned out to be a game changer for me. After a series of treatments, I've noticed a significant improvement in my performance and confidence. The process was painless and the clinic staff were incredibly supportive and discreet.”

"I was a bit hesitant about trying shockwave therapy for my ED, but I'm glad I did. The results weren't immediate, but after a few weeks, I started to notice a difference. It's not a complete cure, but it has definitely helped. The only downside was the cost, as it wasn't covered by my insurance, but it was worth it for the results I got."
